The Bio Distretto Colline della Pia attended the Far Maremma event on the programme for the development of rural areas in the province of Grosseto.
On 21 May, at the Granaio Lorenese in Alberese (GR), the meeting promoted by Far Maremma entitled: "The Leader programme for the development of rural areas in the province of Grosseto. The balance of the 2014-2022 programming and future prospects"..
The Bio Distretto Colline della Pia took part in the initiative, expressing great interest in the contents that emerged and recognising the value of Far Maremma's work in promoting and supporting nuow projects for the development of rural areas in the province of Grosseto.
In particular, the bio-district wished to reiterate its gratitude to Far Maremma, which has made possible, through some funding, the start-up and structuring of the bio-district itself. A fundamental step that made it possible to transform an idea into a concrete project at the service of the territory.
As emphasised by the president of the Bio Distretto Colline della Pia, Adriano Baiguini:
"Today in Alberese, the final day of the project programme financed by the Far Maremma, which supported us in our project to structure the Bio Distretto Colline della Pia."
The meeting was also an important opportunity for institutions, administrators, associations and citizens to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the future of rural areas.
The Bio District will now continue its journey with the aim of strengthening existing partnerships, promoting good agricultural practices and contributing to the construction of a sustainable, shared and future-oriented local development model.
