Tenuta Il Fontino
The Tenuta del Fontino, historic property of the Puntscher family since 1970, is an example of biodynamic agriculture in the Maremma. With 700 hectares of land, 16 of which are dedicated to vineyards, the company cultivates native varieties such as Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo, but also international varieties such as Viognier, Merlot and Syrah. The estate is located near the picturesque Accesa Lake, where the 18th-century villa blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape. The wine cellar is the heart of wine production, where natural wines are made exclusively from estate grapes. In harmony with the principles of the biodistrict, the restaurant and hospitality offer an immersive experience in the tradition, flavours and sustainability of the Maremma. The valorisation of local raw materials makes each dish a unique experience, reflecting the values of biodynamic agriculture and Tuscan gastronomic culture.
